Have you ever felt limited by the choices of EBS cabinets available to use with your lightweight amplifier? The introduction of the NeoLine 210, 212 and 410 in 8 ohm configuration create better options to find the perfect speaker combination!
The EBS Reidmar amplifiers, and most other lightweight bass amps, are limited to handle a 4 ohms minimum speaker load. With most EBS cabinets previously available in 4 ohm only, the option to run two EBS cabinets together with one amplifier has been limited to the mini-size 112 cabinets. These three new additions offers several new options how to build your rig without going below a total load of 4 ohm (2x 8 ohm = 4 ohm).
Why does it matter? Two cabinets move more air than one. That contributes to the overall sound. It makes the instrument breathe and usually improves the bottom. At the same time, a rig combination of an 8 ohm 210 (or 410) and 212 cabinet, offers three distinct choices to bring to the gig.
Either the full stack, just the 210 or the 212 depending on the type of gig and size of the venue.
The 8 ohm cabinets will be distinguished from the 4 ohm models visually by using black tweeters, and of course marked with “8 ohm” on the back.
The new 8 ohm models ship on request only, and can be ordered right now through any EBS distributor.
All NeoLine cabinets are made in Sweden, the standard version is still 4 ohm (except for the mini-size 112, that is 8 ohm by default).
Price $1199 (Neo-210/8), $1299 (NEO-212/8) and $1499 (NEO-410/8)
