THE EBS CLASSICLINE CABINETS. DEVELOPED FOR MUSICIANS WITH A LOVE OF THE CLASSIC SOUND AND LOOK. THIS VERSATILE RETRO-STYLED GEAR COMES WITH UNRIVALLED TONAL CLARITY AND POWER TO BLOW YOUR AUDIENCE AWAY.

Everyone deserves a great bass sound

The ClassicLine cabinets make the great EBS bass sound available to every bass player. The sound character is reminiscent of the EBS ProLine cabinets, but with a warmer and rounder character that adds that vintage touch. The tolex-covered cabinets and the cloth front create a classic look as well.

Full range design

All cabinets are equipped with a 2" tweeter with a fader included in the cabinet for maximum sound control. The 112 uses an on/off switch to control the tweeter. The tweeter adds to the full-range sound.

New "mini-tower" introduced at NAMM 2024!

A new EBS ClassicLine 212 (EBS-S212CL) standing bass cabinet is debuting at the NAMM SHOW 2024. It embodies the essence of rock'n roll, offering remarkable sound quality and a sleek, compact design in the perfect size for the stages most of us play. It resembles an 810 cabinet in appearance but weighs less, is smaller, and is easier to handle. And it just looks stunning. Equipped with two 12" speakers mounted in a vertical line to eliminate phase issues and boost the bass response. The adjustable tweeter adds versatility and clarity. This model is available to order from February 2024. See the specifications tab for details.

Are you using Impulse Responses?

Using devices with Impulse Responses to simulate various speaker cabinets is increasingly popular. But to truly harness the potential of this technology with your bass rig, you need speakers that offer both transparency and impressive power handling.

To unlock the full potential of your IR-equipped device, pair it with an EBS speaker cabinet that embodies transparency and delivers a full-range sound. They offer the optimal conditions for recreating the entire palette of speaker tones you may get from using IR, providing the authenticity and richness in detail that you crave.

Which ones are 4 and which ones are 8 ohms?

The ClassicLine 810, 410, and 212 are all 4-ohm cabinets.

The mini-size 112 and the 210 mid-sized cabinets are 8-ohm cabinets.

When you choose cabinet(s), make sure to check the minimum load your amp can handle.

* The numbers represent the range of a single speaker used in the specified cabinet model. Note that the total cone area (all speakers in the cabinet), the size and design of the cabinet, the sensitivity, and how the human ear uses information in different frequency ranges to interpret low frequencies, in particular, are all factors that contribute to the overall impression of the sound. In other words, a 210, 410, and 810 cabinet share the same specified Frequency Range but produce very different levels of low-frequency output.

Demos & Reviews

Gregor Fries and the team takes a closer look at the EBS ClassicLine 212 Mini-tower in this video from BassTheWorld.com

Review from FUZZ Magazine, Sweden

"The Classic 810 speaker I´m starting to like 8x10 enclosures more and more. With a cone area this big, the impression is totally different from the sometimes farty midrange character of a 4x10. The fullness and sheer power of the 8x10 overshadow the compressed mids of a 4x10. Since the ten-inch drivers lack the deepest frequencies the low bass seldom gets boomy. The large overall speaker area compensates for this giving plenty of bass. Soundwise, this 8x10 is warmer and softer than the EBS Proline models. The tweeter adds bite when you need it. This can be varied using the knob at the back. If you like old-school sounds the tweeter can be turned down completely. The Classic enclosure is a little wider which makes it more fitting underneath big old tube heads. The weight of the cab is 14 kilos less than the Proline equivalent."

Review from Bass Guitar, UK

"The amount of bottom end produced by these cabinets belies their nifty size...we were pleasantly surprised at the volume these speakers can handle"."

- Bass Guitar, UK issue 68, July 2011 on the ClassicLine 112 cabinets.

Said about the EBS ClassicLine cabinets
