Less than a week to go!
We are happy to update you about some of our fine artists that will appear at the EBS Booth, Hall D 3382.
On Friday, Jan 15, at 4 PM we will have a Signing/Meet-And-Greet with EBS Artist Tal Wilkenfeld! Tal was voted Most Exciting New Bass Player by the readers of Bass Player Magazine in 2008 and her work as bass player for Jeff Beck in recent years has been highlighted among bass players all over the world.
On Saturday, Jan 16, at 1 PM we will have a Meet-And-Greet with metal giants Disturbed’s bass player and EBS Pedal Artist John Moyer. This will also celebrate the introduction of the new EBS DPhaser effect and the “official” US release of the EBS Metal Drive, available in stores since the summer, but never appeared on such an event on this side of the Atlantic before.
Confirmed and preleminary scheduled for a demo session at 3 PM Saturday Jan 16, is the bass player from the blockbuster movie This Is It, LA session great Alex Al!
Legendary bass player Victor Bailey – the man who got the job to replace Jaco in Weather Report and with an impressive list of work on the absolute highest level in music – is scheduled for a Demo and Meet-and-Greet on Friday Jan 15, 1 PM. This will also emphazise Victor’s return to EBS amps!
Daily through out the show, we have the pleasure to have EBS Artist Etienne Mbappé at the booth. Etienne is currently playing with John McLaughlin when not playing with his own band Su La Také. He is a master of mixing fusion with African music from his country of origin – Cameroon.
New products introduced to the US at NAMM will be the EBS Classic T90 All tube amp, the new updated amp EBS TD660, the new affordable tiltback combo EBS Session 60, the new additions in the Black Label Pedal series EBS DPhaser and EBS MetalDrive – two pedals with great potential not only for bass but for guitars as well! Add to that one or two suprises to be seen at the show… 😉
