Joanna Dudkowska

Joanna Dudkowska is an artist, bassist, composer, lyricist, and producer from Poland with a graduation of the Academy of Music in Poznań.

She began her career as a session musician, was awarded the title of Best Bassist at the XVI National Review of Rock Sets Rock Blok in Bolesławiec, and was soon recognized as one of the best Polish blues musicians. Joanna Dudkowska not only recorded albums with top names of the Polish music scene but also performed with many national and international artists. Among the excellent musicians were Niki Buzz (Tina Turner, James Brown), Nicolas Zdankiewicz (Nico ZZ and Bobbie "Mercy" Oliver), and Polish stars such as Justyna Steczkowska, Felicjan Andrzejczak, Robert Chojnacki, Urszula, Wojtek Pilichowski and others.

She has performed in concert halls and festivals in Poland and abroad. Including the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, USA; the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole; Sopot TOP of the TOP, Rawa Blues Festival; International Bass & Beat Festival in Wrocław; Bliuzo Naktys in Lithuania, Blues Alive in Zlin in the Czech Republic, Douchapt Blues in France, 32 Entdeckertag der region Hannover and many others.

Joanna has been featured in publications like Bass The World, Bass Players United, and the German magazine Bass Quarterly. Her music video Preludium has reached over a million views. She has appeared on Polish television programs many times.

Today, Dudkowska is the leader, composer, and author of lyrics of her own project "Joanna Dudkowska & Chuc Frazier", which she creates together with American guitarist and vocalist Chuc Frazier, pianist Mateusz Urbaniak and drummer Mikołaj Lisowski. In the autumn, her solo album will be released with Warner Music Poland.
