Legendary George Porter, Jr. of The Meters, recognized as one of the founders of funk, has been using EBS pedals for several years. His credits also including Dr. John, Paul McCartney, Willy DeVille, Robert Palmer, Patti Labelle, Jimmy Buffett, David Byrne, Johnny Adams, Earl King, Tori Amos, and Snooks Eaglin among many others. His most recent projects include the RUNNIN' PARDNERS, FUNKY METERS and THE PORTER TRIO. George Porter Jr will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award by Bass Player Magazine at the 2016 Bass Player Live event in Los Angeles.
