MEET THE ARTISTS
THE EBS ROCKERS COMETOGETHER HAS BECOME A FINE TRADITION AT THE NAMM SHOW. BJORN ENGLEN – DIO DISCIPLES/SOUL SIGN
EBS Artist Bjorn Englen came to Los Angeles from Sweden a long time ago to make a career in the music business. Working hard, it soon started to pay off and he landed a gig with hard rock giants Quite Riot. Ever since he has played with high profile artists in the classic hard rock field including legendary guitarists Tony McAlpine, Uli Jon Roth and not least Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force! He also formed the band Soul Sign that released their debut album last year. The current line-up feature lead singer Marc Boals and acclaimed guitarist Rob Math, among others. Most recently, Bjorn joined DIO DISCIPLES – a band featuring original DIO band members that keep the music of the master alive while at the same time raise funds for the benefit of Cancer Cure research.
MARTEN ANDERSSON – LIZZY BORDEN/LYNCH MOB
EBS Pedal Artist Marten Andersson, similar to his fellow Swede, came to LA at an early stage of his career and joined the incredible Lizzy Borden at the age of 18 (in 1992). Marten is still with the band that recently came out with a new album and has seen a great revival in recent years touring all the Worlds biggest rock and metal festivals. Marten has also played with guitarist extravaganza George Lynch’s Lynch Mob on several tours in the 21st century.
MICHAEL DEVIN – WHITESNAKE
EBS Pedal Artist Michael Devin joined the mighty Whitesnake in 2010, and has been touring and recording with the band since then. He’s also been working with many other artists, including blues phantom Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Whitesnake is currently preparing for kicking off the 2013 World Tour including major festivals, and a UK tour sharing the stage with fellow giant’s and co-headliner’s Journey.
