Lorenzo Barriendos is a bass player from Barcelona, Spain. He got his education in both classical and jazz bass playing and studied with many masters like Omar Sansone, Yannis Ioanidis and Gerry Weil.
Over time he got connected to musicians around the world and involved in high-profile gigs in both jazz, Latin-jazz, salsa, and pop music.
Ever since he has worked with Gerry Weil, Otmaro Ruíz, Dave Valentín, El Trabuco, Alberto Naranjo, Mango, Celia Cruz, Guaco,Tromboranga, Ilan Chester, Franco de Vita, José Luis Rodríguez, El Puma, Danni Rivera and Armando Manzanero, David Bisbal and many others.
Lorenzo is featured on many gold and platinum-selling records. He has been awarded three LATIN GRAMMY's and got nominated for an OSCAR, among several other national and international awards.
He has toured and worked as a bass player, musical director, and producer all over the World.
